Do help with the verification process by alerting your customer that a representative from your finance partner will be contacting them to confirm your invoice.
Do keep good records of the payment history of your customers to improve their credit levels.
Do get your paperwork submitted quickly if you are in a hurry to get funded.
Do let the factoring company know right away when things are not going according to plan; a shipment is late, the product is not what was specified, paperwork was misplaced etc.
Do contact the factoring company immediately when receiving any customer payment from a financed account.
Don’t ever deposit a factored customer payment, even if it includes non-factored funds as part of that payment. A mis-directed payment could result in the termination of the factoring relationship.
